Job Description

  • Manage the company’s business development activities in all sectors of the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationship with clients and partners, keeping a breast of market   trends in order to clearly identify business opportunities, and covert such opportunities to the company’s advantage.
  • Establish and gain an in-depth technical and commercial understanding of general client needs and preferences in the products and service areas.
  • Conduct and evaluate all activities as they relate to each product/service too ensure that marketing achievements are closely monitored, deviations identified and analyzed, and appropriate action taken.
  • Articulate proposals and make presentations to clients covering the products and services of the company.
  • Follow established standards and practice for closing deals/open new client’s accounts to ensure that new clients translate into income.
  • Develop and deliver inventory reports, bids proposal, requirements, documentation and tender documents.
  • Plan, develop an implement procurement policies and procedures, including and tender documents.
  • Plan, develop and implement procurement policies and procedures, including those for equipment, hardware and software, service provision for clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions of contracts with clients and/or vendors.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or other related discipline with relevant professional qualifications (Possession of an MBA or relevant second degree will be an advantage, minimum of eight (8) years post graduation experience in a similar position.
  • Extensive technical experience in a similar position.
  • Extensive technical experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Team player, strong financial and analytical skills: sound management skills coupled with good commercial acumen and good networking ability.
  • Computer literacy and information technology proficiency.
  • Excellent reporting and technical presentation skills.
  • Must possess current driver’s license.
