In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute a strategy for platform partnerships in service of driving growth and engagement on Quizlet
- Lead the process of identifying partnerships to pursue, including building the business case through strategic/financial analysis and due diligence
- Coordinate negotiation, deal execution, and partner management across relevant teams including legal, product, engineering, finance, and marketing
- Monitor and evaluate partnerships using key metrics, driving improvements for mutual success
- Maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure long-term success
- Build relationships with leaders at emerging and established companies, and actively monitor, synthesize, inform, and action off industry trends and opportunities
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of work experience in business development with major strategic partnerships, preferably involving technology and B2C partnerships in an international/global context
- Demonstrated success in structuring, negotiating, and closing complex partnership agreements that drive business growth
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, navigates ambiguity with ease, displays a high competency for data, and focuses on delivering measurable business results
- Experience in performing broad quantitative analysis with a passion for consumer technology
- Strong technical expertise enabling understanding of complex technical concepts, effective communication with engineering and product teams, and the ability to translate between business needs and technical requirements
- Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills, and the ability to develop effective relationships inside and outside of Quizlet
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize strategically
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- Open to traveling as needed to develop and manage partner relationships

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a starting base salary of $185,000 - $255,000, depending on location and experience, as well as company stock options
