As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for building a strong product management team, own the Brion product portfolio, set strategic directions, and drive the delivery of roadmap and customer adoption. You will collect the product requirements and implement strategy and align product strategy and introduction (commercial and timing) with the sales organization. You’re responsible for the product introduction and communication with customers and be responsible to aligning the business line total product offering for the specific customer including communication internally and out to the customer and ASML sales and service teams.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesIdentify areas for growth and drive product definition, design and development, customer engagement and roadmap extensions
Acquire deep customer knowledge. Interact with customers to gain understanding of their technical requirements and effectively translate these requirements into the product roadmap and engagement strategies
Own product requirements, market validation and product roadmaps. Deliver product requirement documents with business cases and market feasibility and validation plans
Define feature priorities and decide detailed release scope working with the R&D, product engineering, quality assurance and project management
Evaluate the financial aspects of product development such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections
Develop and execute product business plan by analyzing business development opportunities and monitoring market trends. Use sales forecast and strategic planning to ensure sales and profitability of our products
Define product rollout and customer engagement plans working with product engineering and account teams
Work with product engineering to develop comprehensive application flow and BKMs to support the flow
Be an expert with respect to the competition including competitive analysis and positioning. Develop and drive competitive marketing campaigns to ensure product market share and profitability
Collaborates cross-functionally on value pricing and value selling, market and field solutions development
Drive and develop use cases, marketing materials, sale collaterals and market communication plans including press releases, launch materials, customer presentations, and sales training materials
Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product. Formulate, direct and coordinate market communication activities and policies to promote our products through various channels
Manage issues and escalations associated with ordering of product, systems and tools, and manufacturing supply
Customer visits and meetings
MS or higher in science / engineering or MBA with engineering background. >10 years in semiconductor field in leadership roles
Wide and deep experience enabling the job holder to provide leadership to an organization unit by managing through managers.
Proven track record of successful leadership and team management. Good coach and team player, able to create and lead inclusive and multi-cultural teams.
Experience in strategic management and leadership across company functions directing substantial resources over long time frames. Proven track record in leading change.
Ability to translate and communicate function strategy in a way which is actionable for own part of the organization.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities. Strong business acumen. Good capability of managing business dynamics and complexity by defining right actions to drive business results.
Excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence through others without authority and to collaborate across sectors or matrix organization.
Ability to develop deep understanding of technology and engage with discussions with development and engineering teams, as well as users from customers.
Regularly present to ASML senior management.
Work with peers in the rest of ASML business units to define total solutions to customers and customer win strategies.
20% or more travel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building.
Ability to use MS Office applications, collaboration tools, and effective use of e-mail and messaging systems.

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
