We’re now looking for a Head of Backend to lead and grow our backend development team in Copenhagen — someone who brings clarity, stability, and curiosity into a complex and evolving tech landscape.
What you’ll lead
A team of 10–12 skilled backend developers on-site in Copenhagen
The modernization of our platform
Architectural strategy and backend evolution aligned with business goals
A calm, focused, and learning-driven engineering culture
Your leadership scope includes
1:1s, performance reviews, and development planning
Team forecasting, backlog management, and delivery follow-up
Architectural planning and end-state definition
Continuous process improvement and retrospectives
Ownership of our Azure setup, dev tools, and backend platform
Driving technical decisions and people development with equal care
What we’re looking for
You’ve likely held roles like Lead Developer, IT Architect, or Head of Development, and you:
Have hands-on experience with SaaS, .NET / C#, Docker and modern backend architecture
Bring a track record of leading developers through growth and transition
Balance long-term thinking with short-term delivery
Communicate clearly with both tech and business folks
Care deeply about people, learning, and impact
Thrive in environments where “the best idea wins” — not the title
