We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Asia Sales and Business Development to lead our semiconductor company's expansion across Asia. This role involves driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and managing key client relationships. You will oversee sales teams in various markets, develop go-to-market strategies, and identify new business opportunities. Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry are crucial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Lead the sales team to identify, pursue, and close high-value deals.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities in the semiconductor IP market. Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market reach and enhance product offerings.
  • Client and Partner Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer and partner relationships. Understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities in the semiconductor IP industry. Provide insights for product development and innovation.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow the sales and business development team. Foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Financial Planning: Collaborate with the executive team on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business growth strategies to the executive team and board of directors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record in the semiconductor or related technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor IP products and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Strong network within the semiconductor industry in Asia.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin preferred.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
