Position Summary

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Art to lead our art team in developing slot game features and monetization promotions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the gaming industry, preferably slot game art, a solid understanding of game art, and experience in managing creative talent. The Head of Art will be responsible for setting the visual style, supporting the art production process, addressing product and monetization needs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality assets that meet the unique needs of a mobile platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the artistic vision for our slot game, ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual experience
  • Inspire and manage a team of talented artists, fostering a creative and collaborative environment
  • Collaborate with product, tech-art, and monetization teams to ensure the artistic vision is aligned with the business needs (KPIs), the gameplay and the tech requirements
  • Establish and maintain quality standards for art assets, providing constructive feedback and guidance to the art team
  • Ensure all assets meet the required technical specifications and are optimized for mobile performance
  • Follow industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to ensure our game and skills remain relevant and competitive

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in game art design
  • Understanding visual hierarchy, composition and UX
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • A creative problem-solver with the ability to overcome challenges and find innovative solutions
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Figma is an advantage)
  • Strong understanding of game development processes and limitations
  • Excellent concept art, illustration, and animation skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Exceptional communication abilities

Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing a range of art styles and high-quality game assets is required.
