The Accounting Operations Head is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting operations for the parent company and its subsidiaries. This role ensures financial reporting excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous optimization of accounting processes to support strategic business decisions.
 

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including Revenue, Expense, General Ledger, and Bank Accounting functions.

  • Lead the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements for the parent company and subsidiaries in compliance with PFRS/IFRS and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting.

  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve accounting policies, internal controls, and governance frameworks.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (BSP, BIR, SEC) and manage audit observations from internal and external audits.

  • Drive financial reporting excellence by implementing standardized processes and reconciliation frameworks, maintaining an audit-ready environment.

  • Provide financial analysis, variance reporting, and insights to support strategic decisions of senior management.

  • Support corporate initiatives such as mergers & acquisitions, investments, and corporate projects.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA license preferred).

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of PFRS/IFRS, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.

  • Proven experience in process improvement, internal controls, and governance frameworks.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience in corporate initiatives such as M&A, investments, and audits is a plus.
