The Role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Account Management to build and scale a high-performing Account Management function, combining strong team development skills with deep hands-on client leadership experience. You will shape how the Account Management team operates, while personally supporting complex client cases and executive relationships.
Role is fully remote.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, grow, and develop the Account Management team — from hiring and onboarding to performance management
- Set quality standards for client communications and personally handle key escalations and negotiations
- Define team structure, processes, and operating model for scalable, repeatable client outcomes
- Establish and track KPIs and OKRs for team and individual performance
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with different teams
- Translate client insights into actionable product or service improvements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Services, or Customer Success within fintech, acquiring, or payments environment (extensive hands-on experience is a must)
- At least 2 years of experience in a team leadership role — hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance review
- Proven ability to build team capabilities (training programs, enablement materials, process playbooks)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including C-level stakeholder interaction
- Experience designing team structures, operating rhythms, and performance tracking through metrics
- English at advanced level (C1 or above); fluent/native proficiency of Russian language.
Would be a plus:
- Experience scaling teams or functions in a fast-growth environment
- Familiarity with CRM and BI tools; ability to build or interpret dashboards
