Responsible for transporting materials throughout the facility primarily by use of powered industrial fork trucks and maintain documentation related to those items.
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter
- Inventory control and validate counts
- Generate production tickets/tags
- Apply documentation to correct pallets
- Document production
- Ensure safety and quality of work
- Perform safety inspections of equipment
- Move product through different areas and environments
- Operate multiple styles of fork truck
- Handle and use cleaning chemicals and perform sanitation duties
- Other duties as assigned
You Are Best Suited For The Role If You….
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and understand instructions.
- Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping practices.
- Comply with all quality system and regulatory requirements.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Requires regular attendance.
- Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
- Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
