About the Role
As a Testing Integration Engineer, you will be the owner of quality for our advanced IoT/VIM modules. You won't just be running tests, you will be integrating the IoT that is the "brain" of the vehicle with critical systems like the BMS and Charging infrastructure.
We require a "standard" EV engineer to become a specialist in "Intelligence and Connectivity".
Key Responsibilities- VIM Validation: Design and execute test procedures for Vehicle Intelligence Modules (IOT) specifically for EV applications.
- System Integration: Work cross-functionally to ensure the VIM communicates perfectly with the BMS and Charger (utilizing your existing knowledge of these systems).
- Hardware Debugging: Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on hardware failures using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and thermal chambers.
- Smart Infrastructure: Validate VIM performance on the basis of antenna performance and the server connectivity.
- Documentation: Create technical reports for Design Verification Plans (DVP) and provide feedback for design improvements.
- Field Testing & Support: Willingness to travel to the field for on-site testing, system integration, and hands-on problem solving to ensure real-world performance and reliability.
- Experience: 1–3 years in Electronics Hardware Testing (Candidates from BMS, or General Electronics hardware backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply).
- Core Electronics: Strong grasp of basic electronics concepts, and PCB testing troubleshooting.
- Tools: Proficient in soldering (SMT/THC) and using standard lab equipment.
- Software: Proficiency in MS-Excel for data interpretation and optimization.
- Must have hands on experience in soldering (SMD and Through hole components).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with IoT protocols or Telematics.
- Knowledge of assembly processes for VIM/IOT units.
- Understanding of temperature monitoring and thermal validation.
