The Hardware Services (HWS) Product Line Manager (PLM) works across NI Business Group teams to oversee and manage the HWS services businesses. This is a global position that owns the HWS services portfolios, services definitions, Statements of Work (SoW), service costing/pricing/margin, quote tool maintenance & support, provides support for pre-sales tendering and service contract closure, and oversees HWS Delivery in the day-to-day operational service delivery, cost management, and lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Business owner for Hardware Services for a family of products, managing HWS service delivery costs and margins to targets.
- Manage the hardware services portfolio, master data (HWS Sellable Items - SI), service costing and pricing, Statements of Work (SOW), and quoting tool function.
- Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver Hardware Service and FLM Service offers and associated value proposition / marketing collateral. Cross functional team engagement includes: Product PLM, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Program Management, Pre-Sales, Services & Product Commercial Management, Controller / Finance
- Work with the Hardware Services Delivery, and Deployment Services & Sourcing teams to drive execution product Hardware Services offers.
- Support Services Commercial Management, CDO CaPM & Program Management, and Sales to address customer support / operational issues and inquiries.
- Define strategy and pricing for Hardware services and maintain costing / pricing tools.
- Provide strategic and tactical costing and pricing support to Pre-sales Services Commercial Management organizations for new and renewal opportunities.
Must Have
- 5 years of experience in Maintenance Operational and/or Business experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering or Telecommunications preferred) or Management Degree
- Demonstrated ability to lead & drive others across organizations in a matrixed cross-functional environment, including Finance, HWS Delivery teams, Repair Vendors, Product PLM, and management
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Flexibility to work across global time zones
- Understanding and application of Accounting principles (P&L statement, balance sheet)
- Strong Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerBI, and Powerpoint skills
Nice to Have
- Understanding and experience in Hardware Services end-to-end processes and able to identify resources to assist in wide range of projects, escalations.
- Knowledge of Nokia tools and systems, examples: CARES/CDB/Entitlement, ngCRM / Sales Force, ALPIM, NEBA, LIBRA, Cockpit, PowerBI Reports, MQT/CareQT
