We are currently looking for an experienced Hardware Product Manager to support our dynamic Product Management team. In this role you will manage a product portfolio, from cradle to grave, to grow our market share and leadership position.
Waht you will do:
  • Drive efforts with, and across, LTG teams including Engineering, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and stakeholders to successfully launch product upgrades, new products and features
  • Manage Product versions, updates, changes, deployments, and launches
  • Coordinate internal and external global communications with regards to features, schedules, product capabilities, announcements, and releases
  • Develop core positioning and messaging for assigned products
  • Create product strategy outlining tiering, product differentiation and value proposition
  • Conduct and collect market research to identify market trends
  • Create business cases and market/product descriptions for new market and product opportunities then present cases to stakeholders for input and approval
  • Review technical specification in RFIs/RFPs and provide input to Sales
  • Develop product pricing strategy based on costs, market factors and competitive information
  • Develop and communicate product unit forecasts to internal management and key partners
  • Maintain a product and feature roadmap for LTG products, managing prioritization and capacity planning
  • Maintain positive working relationships with key industry partners
  • Work with Marketing Communications to develop documentation, sales tools and collateral
  • Life cycle management of Hardware and Firmware products in the transit industry
  • Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:
  • BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mathematics Experience in hardware product management for system level oAerings including software, hardware, and service preferred.
  • Demonstrated passion for producing high-quality work, focusing on the customer's needs and established business objectives.
  • Excellent project planning and organizational skills, experience in leading complex projects to successful outcomes preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and work well in cross-functional teams; excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft OAice products, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Willingness to travel at an estimate of 20% minimum.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Experience in hardware product management for system-level offerings involving software, hardware, and services
  • Excellent project planning and organizational skills
  • Experience leading complex projects to successful outcomes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development and delivery
