- Hardware design
- Is responsible for promptly and fully developing hardware for new or amended products
- Designs PCBs (schematics and layout) using hardware development tools like Altium and Siemens Xpedition.
- Analyses customer requirements and product definitions, and determines design requirements.
- Produces drawings and diagrams of the designs in various levels of detail and assures that documentation is kept up to date.

- Monitors activity planning in relation to project schedules.
- Maintenance of required tools and processes
- Contributes ideas for new developments, gives suggestions and solutions based on personal expertise, market studies and business needs.
- Aligns with production on manufacturability of products

Education and Experience
- HBO/WO level education in electronic or electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing hardware in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge:
- Fluency in the English language.
- Knowledge of electronics EMC/EMI testing
- Knowledge of 'Advanced Driver Assistant Systems' (ADAS).
- Knowledge of automotive core tools like PPAP, DFMEA, 8D and APQP.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software and hardware.
- Knowledge of legislation concerning product safety and the environment.
- Must be up-to-date with developments in the field.
