Principle duties and essential functions
- Definition, development and evaluation of high-speed communication electronic modules for data communication
- Product concept development and product specification
- Component selection, qualification and support of CAD library element creation
- Creation of schematics and PCB designs including creation of PCB production and assembly data
- Alignment with PCB manufacturer and Contract Manufacturer (CM) for PCB assembly
- Module bring-up and support of FPGA and SW integration and module test
- Documentation of design and test/qualification results
- Planning and management of development projects
Knowledge, skills and experience required
- University degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar
- Good knowledge of analog and digital circuit design and simulation
- Experience with Mentor design and simulation tools (DxDesigner, Expedition, Hyperlynx) would be beneficial
- Team player, self-motivated person
- Well-organized, focused on solution
- Strong communication skills
- Good English and German language skills
