Job Responsibilities:
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves mechanically or by hand using forklift, winches or conveyors. Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on cases or other containers. Assembles and disassembles storage racks, shelving, cardboard boxes or storage units.
JOB QUALIFICATION

• 1 year of Forklift experience or prior production forklift operation and training experience
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Warehouse experience or Shipping and Receiving experience preferred but not required
• Excellent attendance

RESPONSABILITIES

• Perform required safety inspections on forklift equipment and document accordingly
• Move materials to/from production lines as well as provide packaging materials
• Keep production operating at maximum efficiency by eliminating forklift downtime
• Load and unload tractor trailers using electric and propane-powered forklift equipment
• Issue components and packaging to production as needed using CMS
• Prepare barcode labels and other production and shipping paperwork
• Visual inspection, packaging, and final labeling of finished goods

SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Basic math skills required
• Ability to perform job safely yet quickly
• Ability to visually inspect inbound/outbound freight and containers
• Basic understanding of inventory flow and stock rotation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sitting for extended periods; or continuous standing, bending, reaching, some kneeling and crawling required, climbing to get on/off forklifts
• Adequate vision to safely operate forklifts, lifting of up to 40 lbs.

• Forklift, computer, bar code printer, scanner, shrink-wrap machine, pallet jack
