- Working experience with large scale Hadoop environments build and support including design, configuration, installation, performance tuning and monitoring
- Exposure to Hadoop Administration
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience with developing complex reports and dashboard applications in large, global organizations on a variety of BI platforms in Cognos.
- Experience & awareness of nuances on Cognos reports Migration.
- At least 4 years of experience in developing using J2EE technologies including Java, Spring, Hibernate, AngularJS.
- Good knowledge of Hadoop.
- At least 2 years’ experience on Hands-on experience with the overall Hadoop eco-system (HDFS, Map Reduce, Pig/Hive, Hbase etc)
- At least 4 years of experience in determining database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with clients; evaluating current systems;
- Hands on experience on Mongo, Elastic Search and related technologies
- Proficient in Java development environment and tools like Git, Eclipse, Jenkins
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Hadoop.
- At least 4 years of experience with Cognos, and other BI reporting tools
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with Cognos Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, Cognos Connection
