You will provide architectural leadership for ClaimCenter implementations, claims transformation programs,ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that accelerate customer value.
This role is ideal for a hands-on expert who enjoys solving complex business problems, shaping implementation strategy, and accelerating our customers’ path to value while contributing to Professional Services’ mission to cut implementation effort and time through AI and automation.
Job Description
What you’ll do- Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture, design standards, and implementation roadmap for Guidewire ClaimCenter soutions across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments, ensuring alignment with customer enterprise architecture and Guidewire best practices.
- Lead solution design and implementation, including ClaimCenter configuration and customization (Gosu, data model extensions, rules, workflows, integrations, and plugins)
- Architect and oversee complex integrations between Guidewire applications and enterprise systems such as policy administration, billing, CRM, document management, data platforms, and third-party services using APIs, web services, messaging, and event-driven patterns.
- Provide technical leadership to cross-functional delivery teams through architecture reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering governance, driving quality, reusability, automation, and best-in-class delivery practices.
- Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and customer teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that address performance, availability, security, resiliency, and operational excellence.
- Champion cloud adoption, AI-enabled delivery, and automation initiatives to accelerate implementation timelines, improve productivity, and establish repeatable delivery patterns across programs.
- Contribute to organizational assets including accelerators, reference architectures, technical standards, and thought leadership while promoting knowledge sharing across Guidewire, customer, and partner teams globally.

Required
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI, automation, and data-driven insights to improve delivery efficiency, solution quality, and customer outcomes.
- 10–18 years of software engineering and architecture experience, including significant hands-on expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter, with experience leading at least two large-scale implementation, modernization, or cloud transformation programs.
- Deep expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration and architecture, including Gosu, data model extensions, rules, workflows, activities, integrations, plugins, and Guidewire development best practices;
- Guidewire ClaimCenter ACE Certification, or equivalent Guidewire implementation credentials preferred.
- Proven experience designing and delivering complex integrations using REST APIs, web services, messaging frameworks, and event-driven architectures across Guidewire and enterprise ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, cloud-native architecture, performance optimization, security best practices, scalability, resiliency, and non-functional requirements for mission-critical applications.
- Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business audiences in Agile delivery environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams, customers, and time zones.
Preferred
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP), including cloud-native implementation patterns, observability, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Proven success leading ClaimCenter Cloud,, or Guidewire modernization programs leveraging automation and AI-enabled delivery approaches.
- Familiarity with other Guidewire products such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Data Platform, and Analytics.
- Experience with modern microservices, API-first architectures, event-driven systems, and digital experience platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
