The Lean Sensei is a senior expert and coach responsible for driving operational excellence across the organization through the application of Lean principles and methodologies. This role serves as a catalyst for cultural transformation, capability building, and sustainable performance improvement. The Lean Sensei partners with business leaders to identify opportunities, lead strategic Kaizen events, and mentor teams in the deployment of Lean tools and behaviors.
As a GTS Business System Lean Sensei you will be responsible for:
- Acting as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders on Lean thinking and enterprise transformation.
- Designing and facilitate high-impact Kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, and problem-solving workshops.
- Assessing organizational maturity and readiness for Lean transformation; develop tailored roadmaps.
- Building internal capabilities by mentoring Lean leaders, facilitators, and change agents.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement through structured coaching, training, and hands-on support.
- Leading diagnostics and benchmarking to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Ensuring alignment of Lean initiatives with strategic business objectives and KPIs.
- Sharing best practices across business units and contribute to the evolution of the Lean operating system.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
- Have proven industry experience in Lean transformation, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Be a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent; Shingijutsu or Toyota Production System experience is a plus.
- Have a proven track record of leading enterprise-level Lean initiatives with measurable results.
- Have strong facilitation, coaching, and change management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities across all organizational levels.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support global operations.
