We're looking for a sharp, AI-fluent GTM Engineer to take our outbound motion to the next level.
We sell three products (Opendock, ShipperGuide, and Loadsmart AI) into the same accounts, but to different buyers in each one. Our sales pods pair an Account Executive with a Sales Development Representative to work our best accounts with highly customized, AI-driven plays, and they should be spending their time selling, not building target lists or sequences from scratch.
As our GTM Engineer, you'll sit RevOps-adjacent and close to sales, designing and running the outbound programs behind those plays. You'll be accountable for whether they produce pipeline and help us land bigger deals. You're a systems person and a revenue strategist: you find where we lose deals in the data and help shape what we do about it.
JOB TYPE: Exempt
DEPARTMENT: SaaS Sales
LOCATION: Chicago, IL (On-site /Hybrid)
WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
Build account strategy: per-product ICP and scoring, tiering, territory splits, and account-value modeling for land-and-expand, with lists kept fresh through automated sourcing
Build and run agents, skills, and automated workflows that do real work, such as deduplicating records, enriching accounts, and personalizing outreach with Claude
Pressure-test scoring and plays regularly against real win/loss and Gong data, find where deals drop off, and work with the Director of Sales to change strategy based on what the data shows
Own buying-committee coverage by making sure every target account has verified, role-tagged contacts for each product before it's ready to work
Keep Salesforce clean: dedup, correct account hierarchy, enrichment (ZoomInfo, Clay, Apollo, Sales Navigator), campaign membership, and correct source fields on every record at creation
Build, run, and maintain role × product sequences in Salesloft, including deliverability, A/B testing, and retiring what loses
Run a weekly scorecard per SDR (sequence adherence, step completion, calls made), and each month bring a specific proposed change, test it, and report the result
Bring the next tool or AI workflow before we ask for it, and teach the team what you know
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5–7 years of total experience in RevOps, GTM engineering, SDR/sales ops, ABM, or demand gen, with hands-on outbound build experience. Your title may say RevOps; what matters is that you've been the strategist, not only the person maintaining the CRM
Deep, current Salesforce expertise at the data-model level (Leads vs. Contacts, account hierarchy, campaign members, dedup rules, reporting). You've built lists into Salesforce, not just pulled them out
Proven experience building agents that take action on their own, beyond chatting with an AI tool or traditional automation
Production experience with ZoomInfo, Clay, Apollo, and Sales Navigator
Experience designing sequences in Salesloft, Gong, or a similar cadencing system, including managing deliverability
A revenue strategist's instincts: pipeline and dollars first, and a real belief that marketing/sales alignment makes this work
A track record of bringing new tools and approaches to your team
