Control Risks is looking to hire an experienced GSOC Lead Analyst (Physical Security) for a core client's security operations centre in Bangalore. This role will be embedded into our information technology-sector client's global security team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the SOC team is aware of the daily activities and schedule, troubleshoot equipment problems, write reports, and brief leadership on incidents, threats, and relevant situations.
- Act as the incident leader for business disruptions and crisis management until relieved by the GSOC Manager.
- Respond to both routine and emergency calls, monitor alarms and video equipment.
- Dispatch security officers, Emergency Response Teams, facilities personnel, Law Enforcement, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services personnel as required.
- Maintain and quality controls various records of communications and events.
- Identify the equipment and technical requirements of the Operations Center and be able to manage the replacement or repair of deficient items.
- Use multiple internal and external resources to gather and manage information and intelligence about events that are occurring both domestically and internationally that may impact Client Operations.
- Receive and disseminates information to appropriate recipients using standardized approved methods.
- Monitor real-time security systems and coordinate appropriate responses to incidents and alarms
- Incident reporting, documentation and AAR
- Manage Mass Notification tests, requirements effectively, and provide analytics
- Support the implementation of new security technologies, Security projects, and system integration.
- End-to-end coordination for Safety & Security during Exec’s visits & events.
Requirements
- Lead Analyst should have four (4) or more years of applicable experience and a minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence key business partners.
- Ability to build strategic vision and drive organizational change.
- Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and meet appropriate deadlines as well as the ability to manage a diverse team in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to think through problems for logical solutions and remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Able to protect and manage highly confidential and proprietary company information.
- Knowledge of global security trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Good knowledge of MS office, PowerBI will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in systems like Lenel, CCURE 9000, Honeywell, or Genetec.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) are a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
