The GSOC Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) by identifying, monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents that may impact employees, business operations, assets, or organizational reputation. The role ensures the effective operation of security systems, coordinates incident response activities, maintains operational documentation, and serves as a central point of communication between internal stakeholders and external emergency services. The position supports crisis management, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and physical security initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alarms, CCTV systems, access control platforms, and security intelligence tools to identify, assess, and respond to security incidents.
- Receive, assess, and respond to routine, urgent, and emergency calls through multiple communication channels, ensuring timely escalation when required.
- Coordinate incident response activities by communicating with relevant stakeholders and external emergency services to ensure timely resolution and effective incident management.
- Manage employee, contractor, and visitor access by administering access control, badge issuance, activation, deactivation, reconciliation, and visitor management processes.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, communications, access control activities, and operational events in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare and maintain operational and management reports as required.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and emergency response drills to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain security documentation, process records, inventory records, and access-related reconciliations to ensure operational accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor operational trends, identify security risks, and recommend improvements to enhance GSOC processes and operational effectiveness.
- Escalate equipment failures, suspicious activities, operational concerns, and critical incidents to appropriate leadership in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional security and operational duties as assigned to support the objectives of the Global Security Operations Center.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) operations, physical security principles, and incident management processes.
- Proficiency in security technologies, including CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, and related security management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations and make timely, informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
