The ChallengePaving contractors are skeptical, no-nonsense operators who've seen every software pitch under the sun. They don't respond to typical SaaS marketing. They need to feel something—to see themselves as the heroes of their own transformation story, to understand that choosing OneCrew isn't just buying software, it's joining a movement to modernize an entire industry.
Your mission: Redefine how the paving industry sees OneCrew. Not as another software vendor, but as the future of the industry—the platform that separates industry leaders from everyone else.
What You'll DoDefine Our Market Position & Brand Narrative Shape how OneCrew shows up in the market. Develop positioning, messaging, and storytelling that transforms our functional product into an emotional category leader. Work closely with product and sales to ensure our narrative resonates with skeptical buyers and differentiates us from competition.
Build Campaign-Driven Momentum Design and execute integrated campaigns that create breakout moments for OneCrew. You're not just running tactics—you're orchestrating multi-channel experiences (events, content, product launches, referrals, community) that shift perception and drive pipeline. You'll conceive the strategy, build the campaign, execute hands-on, measure results, and iterate rapidly.
Drive Go-to-Market Strategy Partner with product and sales to bring new features and capabilities to market. Translate product value into compelling narratives, develop launch strategies, and create the sales enablement assets that help our team win deals.
Establish Category Leadership Position OneCrew as the definitive authority in paving software. Through strategic content, customer storytelling, competitive intelligence, and industry presence, ensure that when anyone thinks about modernizing their paving business, OneCrew is the only name that comes to mind.
Systematize Customer Advocacy Our customers are passionate advocates—they're already referring us and championing our platform. Your job is to channel this energy into repeatable programs, compelling case studies, and authentic showcases that demonstrate real transformation and quantifiable ROI.
Own the Metrics You're data-informed and results-driven. You'll instrument everything with Google Analytics and HubSpot, understand what's working, and have the courage to kill what's not. You measure results in pipeline influence, win rates, brand lift, and ultimately revenue.

Customer-obsessed: You're genuinely curious about contractors and their world. You'll spend real time understanding their challenges, buying process, and aspirations—then translate that into marketing that feels authentic and resonates deeply.
Builder with startup DNA: You're comfortable wearing multiple hats and doing whatever it takes. You've worked in fast-paced environments where your decisions directly moved the needle.
Metrics-minded: You don't just trust your gut—you validate ideas with data, track performance religiously, and can clearly connect your work to business outcomes.
Requirements- 3-5+ years of marketing experience in product marketing, brand marketing, growth marketing, or a generalist role at a B2B SaaS company or high-growth startup 
- Strong positioning and messaging skills—you can craft compelling value propositions and narratives that differentiate products and resonate with target buyers 
- Campaign creation and execution experience—you've conceived, launched, and measured integrated campaigns or product launches across multiple channels 
- Proven experience with Google Analytics and HubSpot (or similar analytics/marketing automation platforms)—you're comfortable tracking performance and optimizing based on data 
- Track record of creating high-impact marketing assets—whether that's positioning frameworks, sales enablement materials, thought leadership content, customer stories, or launch campaigns 
- Project management skills—ability to juggle multiple initiatives, prioritize ruthlessly, and ship consistently 
- Strong writing and communication skills—you can articulate complex value clearly and compellingly 
Bonus Points:
- Product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, especially for SMB or field service software 
- Experience in industries with traditional, skeptical buyers who don't naturally embrace technology 
- Background in referral programs, community building, or advocacy marketing 
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success teams 
- Familiarity with trade shows and industry event marketing 
- Content creation background (journalism, content marketing, copywriting) 
- Build the marketing function from scratch at a fast-growing company with product-market fit 
- Competitive salary ($100K-$150K) with significant upside through generous early-stage equity
