Harbor is insurance for the agentic economy. Banks, insurers, hospitals and law firms are handing real decisions to AI agents: approving loans, pricing policies, moving money, advising customers, thousands of times a day. When one gets it wrong, nobody knows who is liable, and insurers are excluding AI from existing policies because there is no claims history to price it.
We fix that. Our platform finds every agent a company runs, measures its operational, security and regulatory risk against a framework mapped to NIST AI RMF, SR 26-2 and the EU AI Act, and blocks the decisions that break the company's rules before they go through. Then we insure the risk that remains, with our own money behind the answer.
We emerged from stealth in October 2026 with $10M in seed funding from Base10 Partners, Abstract and 8VC. Born out of Stanford, Harbor brings together AI researchers, engineers, IMO and IOI medalists, former founders, and insurance leaders, with the shared mission of building the risk infrastructure for AI.
Harbor is creating a category. Nobody searches for "agent insurance" yet. Your job is to make the risk of AI agents legible to the people who will have to answer for it. You will own how Harbor shows up in the world, from the research we publish to the partner program that puts Harbor inside the platforms agents are built on.
Own Harbor's narrative and make it travel: research reports, benchmarks, post-mortems of public agent failures, talks and press.
Build and run the agent-platform partner program, so that companies building agents on major platforms can get them measured and insured from day one.
Design and run the demand engine for a long, high-trust enterprise sale: events, content, communities, outbound programs, and the measurement to know what works.
Turn what Underwriting and Engineering learn from customers into material the market can use: frameworks, guides, calculators, standards.
Work directly with the founders on launches, positioning and the brand.
You have grown something from zero where the buyer did not know they had the problem yet. Early-stage B2B, ideally selling to regulated industries.
You write clearly and fast, and you have the judgment to know when a spreadsheet, a report or a dinner is the right instrument.
You are as comfortable reading a risk framework as you are reading a funnel.
You run experiments, measure them honestly, and kill what does not work.
You can speak to a Chief Risk Officer without a deck and hold the room.
Experience in insurance, fintech, security or AI infrastructure.
Partner or ecosystem programs you built.

Founder mentality: Everyone owns a piece of the company, not a job description.
Ownership over outcomes: You decide, you ship, you answer for the result.
High pace: We decide in days, ship in weeks, and fix what we got wrong just as quickly.
Good hearts: Direct, demanding and kind.

What We Do
Harbor provides insurance and risk infrastructure for organizations deploying AI agents. Its platform discovers agents, tests them for vulnerabilities, scores operational risk, and applies runtime guardrails to block decisions that breach company policies. It then insures residual risk, especially for institutions entrusting consequential decisions to autonomous systems. Harbor describes its mission as making AI agents safe enough to insure within the emerging agentic economy.
