AMC is looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized Operations Coordinator to help keep the Growth Team’s financial and operational systems running smoothly. In this role you’ll work with departments across AMC to ensure the behind-the-scenes processes that power our work are efficient and consistent. The ideal candidate values creating order from complexity, is comfortable with ambiguity, embraces the concept of constant improvement, and enjoys collaborating with cross-departmental teams.

 

What you’ll be doing at AMC  

Financial & Metrics Coordination 

  • Coordinate budget and forecast cycles for the Growth Team, following AMC’s annual timeline.   
  • Conduct, monthly financial reporting and analysis to ensure the Growth Team is on track to financial plans.   
  • Coordinate weekly metrics updates including KPI results and market insights.   
  • Support financial reporting, expense coding and recordkeeping for the Growth team and CGO. 
  • Collect and coordinate KPI results on key campaigns, including mid-campaign updates and post-mortem reviews. Capture learnings for use in upcoming campaigns. 

 

Project Coordination 

  • Maintain a shared view of upcoming projects, work, and deadlines across Growth Team departments. 
  • Ensure new Growth Team requests coming from within the team and from other AMC departments are captured, scoped, prioritized, and assigned. 
  • Assist in optimizing AirTable workflows and structures to improve visibility and streamline team processes. 
  • Manage and develop updates to internal team processes to promote efficient project management and high-level deliverables. 

 

Growth Operational Excellence  

  • Schedule and manage recurring monthly meetings that focus on strategic team updates, project highlights, cross-functional work, and KPI reporting.   
  • Assist in planning bi-annual in-person Growth Team events. 
Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of applicable experience. 
  • Has strong coordination and communication skills, with an interest in learning how to support projects and keep teams aligned and on track. 
  • Is proactive and solutions-oriented, identifying opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and team effectiveness.  
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with colleagues at all levels of the organization and across departments.  
  • Is comfortable learning and managing technology platforms such as Airtable, project management tools, spreadsheets, and reporting systems.  
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys supporting the success of multiple teams and stakeholders.  
  • Shares AMC's commitment to outdoor recreation, conservation, and creating positive experiences for members, volunteers, and supporters.

What AMC Can Offer You 

Salary: $45,000-$58,000

We are committed to fair compensation practices. The initial salary represents our starting point, and our compensation philosophy is designed to reward and recognize the contributions of our employees as they grow within the organization. External candidates typically begin their journey with us at the starting point of the salary range. The final compensation offer will be based on factors such as experience, education, competencies, and geographic differential relevant to the position, and will be discussed during the interview process.
