We’re looking for a Senior Growth Marketer, Paid Acquisition to take our paid growth engine to the next level and drive meaningful growth across both our subscriber and advertiser funnels. You’ll be our paid media architect - experimenting, optimizing, and scaling campaigns while pioneering new channels and frameworks that redefine how we grow.

Our mission is to build the paper of record for technical fields - the trusted source people in tech rely on to understand what matters and why. With 40%+ open rates and a highly engaged audience, brands and agencies are calling newsletters the “challenger channel” and TLDR is leading the charge.
About the RoleWe’re scaling fast through both organic growth and paid acquisition. This role will own all paid efforts - driving performance, testing new channels, and creating scalable systems for continuous learning and optimization.

In this role, you will:
Own and optimize campaigns across Meta and LinkedIn
Manage 6-figure monthly budgets, improving efficiency and ROAS
Build a creative and channel testing framework to optimize CAC and subscriber/advertiser growth
Develop high-performing ad copy and creative using AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, etc.)
Identify and test new paid channels (Reddit, X, TikTok, podcasts, newsletters)
Partner with Sales on advertiser quality feedback and with Engineering/Product for site and conversion improvements
Help shape overall acquisition strategy
Improved CAC and ROAS across Meta and LinkedIn
A structured testing and creative iteration framework in place
At least one new paid channel successfully piloted and scaled
Clear reporting cadence and transparency around performance
3+ years in performance marketing or paid acquisition
Hands-on experience managing $100K+/month budgets
Deep expertise in Meta Ads
Strong analytical mindset and experimentation philosophy
Experience with low-ticket, high-volume B2C or eCommerce-style growth
Proven results: e.g., reduced CAC or improved ROAS metrics
Excellent communicator; thrives in fast-paced, autonomous environments
You’re metrics-obsessed and fluent in testing methodologies
You’ve scaled campaigns at high volume, not just high spend
You leverage AI tools to improve creative and performance
You can balance analytical precision with creative experimentation
You’re curious, proactive, and excited to experiment
You have experience manager Meta and LinkedIn Ads
Primarily work in paid search without significant paid social experience
Come from environments with ultra-high budgets (8-figure+) and rigid teams
Have only managed small, local, or high-ticket niche campaigns
Prefer waiting for direction instead of iterating independently
Own a critical growth lever at a profitable, fast-growing media company
