Growth Cofounder
MacroVision isn't hiring a marketer.
I'm looking for someone who wants to help build a company.
MacroVision is a nutrition platform built around a simple belief: nutrition tracking shouldn't require changing the way people live. We've built technology that makes tracking restaurant meals, homemade food, recipes, and everyday eating dramatically easier, and the app is already live on both iOS and Android.
I'm an engineer and founder who has spent the past year building the product from the ground up. Now I'm looking for someone who wakes up thinking about growth the same way I wake up thinking about product.
This isn't a traditional job, and it isn't a consulting role.
I'm looking for someone who wants ownership.
What you'd own
You would lead how MacroVision reaches the world.
That could include:
- Brand strategy
- User acquisition
- Partnerships
- Influencer and ambassador programs
- Community building
- Local events
- Referral programs
- Growth experiments
- Pricing and go-to-market strategy
- Whatever else moves the business forward
I don't expect you to do everything yourself. I expect you to figure out what needs to happen and make it happen.
What I'm looking for
Someone who:
- Loves building things from zero
- Thinks like an owner
- Is comfortable with ambiguity
- Wants long-term upside instead of short-term comfort
- Cares more about creating something meaningful than climbing the corporate ladder
Marketing experience helps.
Startup experience helps.
Neither is required if you have exceptional drive and can demonstrate that you've built or grown something before.
Compensation
MacroVision is an early-stage, bootstrapped company.
Equity will be the primary form of compensation while we build.
The goal isn't to work forever without pay. The goal is to build a business that can support both founders through revenue, investment, or another path we create together.

Skills Required
- Ownership mindset and willingness to act as a cofounder
