👩💻 What you'll doThis is a rare opportunity to join as one of the first Account Execs at GitBook. Even though we're well established in the market (and profitable), we're early stage in our enterprise sales motion. To take our growth to the next stage, we need to learn from what's already working and tap into new lead-gen channels.
Experiment with targeted outbound to ICP accounts
Test new playbooks for generating sales pipeline, from idea to execution
Develop an approach to sales-assist for qualified product signups
Leverage data and AI to work smarter with high volumes (we have 30K product signups per month)
Qualify and close deals (you own the relationship end-to-end)
Owners mindset: You don't just complete your to-dos, you come up with them.
Adaptability: Processes aren't fully defined and there aren't established workflows, you'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity while creating structure where none exists.
Hustle: You don't give up easily and recognise that sales is always a numbers game to an extent.
Eager to learn: Your version of sales is being a helpful expert, and you're hungry to learn about new industries and products.
