Rustic Pathways has been the leader in global teen adventure and community service travel programs since 1983. Through purposeful design, we create culturally-immersive travel programs for middle school, high school, and college students, customizable teacher-led trips for school groups, and gap year semesters for recent high school grads.
Rustic was named the Best Youth Travel Operator in 2019 by the World Youth and Student Educational Travel Confederation for the third time in five years. Outside Magazine named Rustic one of its Best Places to Work in 2018 for the third consecutive year.
Rustic is a mission-driven company focused on creating the next generation of global leaders through transformative travel experiences. Here’s how we’re doing it:
• Critical Issues programs expose students to the most pressing challenges facing our world and foster the skills they need to tackle similar situations in their communities.
• Long-term community partnerships allow us to collaborate with local leaders to create sustainable projects that will have a lasting impact.
• Exceptional and highly-trained staff have the experience to ensure the health and safety of students while contributing to the growth they experience during programs.
