Job Description
This position requires the ability to negotiate the fuel contracts with the fuel suppliers on all commercial terms (including remote and in-person negotiations), define sourcing strategy, lead a negotiation for the entire tender process and to summarize and explain the relevant information for the final decision.
Relevant knowledge to participate in meaning strategic discussions, undertake complex negotiations and fully aware of how to plan, prepare, and present a tender and a sourcing project.
Develop and maintain relationships with the suppliers to ensure the best pricing and delivery of service.
Maintain accurate records and update internal system in line with the company procedure.
Analyse market trends to identify new opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications- Experience in purchasing, preferably in the fuel aviation industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple suppliers and contracts. Knowledge of procurement best practices, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel and work in a multi-site/location environment.
