Your Role at impact.com:
The basic purpose of this position is to fill a need in the Finance department for someone to support the group’s accounting and financial reporting for acquired, new and outsourced entities and cross functional alignment between the tax and the corporate accounting teams.What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with other business units and cross functional teams as members of the team leading the finance integration of acquired entities/operations.
  •  Assist with financial operations tasks for acquired entities prior to integration and handover to the FinOps team.
  • Overall responsibility to collate monthly results from external accountants, review the results to follow up on anomalies and provide support to follow up queries and additional information requested.
  •  Map and import the monthly results received from external accountants into Netsuite.
  •  Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and add commentary to the monthly management packs and other presentation decks.
  •  Collaborate and support the FP&A function during the month-end, forecast and budgeting processes.
  •  Support the compliance accountant with input for external audits and statutory financial statements.
  • Calculate monthly transfer pricing in accordance with transfer pricing policies.
  •  Proactively collate data required by the tax team for direct and indirect taxes return submissions and reconcile tax returns to the general ledger and investigate reconciling differences.
  •  Reconcile tax liabilities (assets) to the underlying statutory submissions, assessments, statements, and provisions.

What You Have:

  • CA(SA) with at least 2 years post article experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
  • Strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, and the ability to deliver clean and concise work products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience performing general ledger account reconciliations and analyses.
  • Ability to proactively identify problems, design solutions, and implement changes and improvements from scratch without prior reference or examples.
  • Experience collaborating and communicating with senior levels of management, cross-functional teams and departments, and external auditors.
  • Interest in working as part of an international team across time zones and regions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Netsuite (strongly recommended)
  • Experience in US GAAP is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of how a SaaS company operates is advantageous.
  • Natural affinity for tax is advantageous.
