Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to take on a hybrid role as Head of Social Media & Account Director. This position combines high-level strategic planning for social media (both Always-On and Campaign-based) with exceptional client management. You will be responsible for shaping social media direction for multiple brands, leading internal teams, and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with key clients.
Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Social Media Leadership
- Develop and oversee social media strategies for both Always-On Marketing (AWO) and seasonal or campaign-driven marketing initiatives.
- Ensure content strategies align with each brand’s tone of voice, business goals, and target audience behavior.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly to optimize reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Keep the agency at the forefront of emerging trends and platform innovations (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, etc.).
2. Team & Project Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team including Social Media Executives, Content Creators, Community Managers, Analysts, and Account Managers.
- Approve and oversee content calendars, creative assets, and campaign rollouts before client submission.
- Ensure high standards of creative output, clear workflow, and effective cross-departmental collaboration.
- Implement and maintain project timelines, scopes, and budgets for both AWO and campaign projects.
3. Client Relationship & Account Direction
- Act as the primary strategic partner for key clients — from onboarding and briefing to performance reporting and long-term planning.
- Translate client objectives into integrated digital strategies and campaigns that deliver measurable impact.
- Lead presentations, campaign pitches, QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), and performance discussions.
- Identify and propose new opportunities to expand service offerings or campaign directions to existing clients.
Strategic Excellence
- Develop and execute effective Always-On and campaign-based social media strategies that clearly support client business objectives
- Successfully guide clients in long-term brand-building efforts through tailored platform-specific strategies.
Client Satisfaction & Retention
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that lead to client satisfaction scores of 90% or above and long-term retention.
- Proactively provide strategic recommendations and performance insights that demonstrate deep understanding of client needs.
Performance-Driven Execution
- Achieve or exceed key campaign KPIs (engagement rate, reach, CTR, conversions, etc.) as defined by each client brief.
- Deliver content calendars, campaign plans, and reporting on time with high quality and strategic clarity.
Team Growth & Leadership
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture within the social and account teams.
- Develop team capabilities through training, feedback, and mentorship to ensure consistent improvement.
Innovation & Trend Leadership
- Keep the agency and its clients ahead of trends by proposing innovative formats, platform features, and content directions.
- Regularly contribute thought leadership or insights into internal knowledge-sharing sessions or client briefings.
Operational Efficiency
- Ensure efficient internal workflow, timeline adherence, and optimized resource allocation across projects.
- Identify and solve process bottlenecks while continuously improving team operations and output quality.
