We are seeking a skilled and motivated Grounds Crew Supervisor specializing in lawn care, landscaping, tree work, irrigation maintenance and repair. This leadership role involves supervising a team of around 15 people, while performing hands-on duties related to landscape maintenance, tree care, irrigation, and gardening. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment operation, truck driving, trailer pulling, and overseeing projects to ensure quality work and safety standards are met. This position is hands on, meaning you will be performing work along side of crew. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team in delivering exceptional outdoor maintenance.
Responsibilities-
teach/perform and oversee irrigation system repair, and maintenance projects.

Lead and supervise a team of grounds persons to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and garden bed care.

Conduct tree care operations such as trimming, removal.

Operate various landscaping equipment and tools with proficiency

Drive trucks to transport crew members, equipment, and materials; pull trailers as needed for large or specialized equipment

Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.

Coordinate project schedules and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Maintain equipment upkeep and perform routine maintenance checks.
Experience

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care and gardening

Supervising or leadership experience in landscaping or construction environments

Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care best practices

Experience operating landscaping machinery such as mowers, trimmers, loaders, or similar equipment

Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive trucks and pull trailers safely

Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair is a plus

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively

Prior experience in supervising outdoor crews or managing multiple projects simultaneously is preferred.
