We are seeking a skilled and motivated Grounds Crew Supervisor specializing in lawn care, landscaping, tree work and irrigation maintenance and repair.
This leadership role involves supervising a team of around 15 people, while performing hands-on duties. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment operation, truck driving and pulling trailers. They would have experience overseeing projects to ensure quality work and safety standards are met. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team in delivering exceptional outdoor maintenance.
Responsibilities-
teach/perform and oversee irrigation system repair, and maintenance projects.

Lead and supervise a team of grounds persons to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Perform/oversee landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and garden bed care.

Confer with safety manager to ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.

Coordinate daily and project schedules with site manager.

Maintain equipment.
Experience

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care and gardening.

Supervising or leadership experience in landscaping or construction environments.

Knowledge of plant care best practices.

Experience operating landscaping machinery such as mowers, trimmers, loaders, or similar equipment.

Valid driver’s license.

Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair is a plus.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Prior experience in supervising outdoor crews or managing multiple projects simultaneously is preferred.
Skills Required

- Skilled in tree care/arborist services including climbing and pruning techniques
- Experience operating landscaping machinery such as mowers, trimmers, loaders, or similar equipment
- Valid driver's license with the ability to drive trucks and pull trailers safely
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair is a plus
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
