Position: Graphic & Web Design Internship
Compensation: Unpaid, Course Credit
Hours: Minimum of 10 hours per week, Maximum of 30
This is a challenging hands-on internship experience in our in-house advertising/marketing team for USG Holding and our subsidiary companies. We are looking for a creative candidates for our internship program in the national marketing department, innovations, headquartered in Canonsburg, PA, approximately 20 minutes south of Pittsburgh. Learning Opportunities:
- Participating in a team environment to create marketing campaigns and advertisements.
- Pitching creative campaigns for new concepts, products, and locations.
- Campaign Development & Collateral Design
- Website Design and Development
- Broadcast Email Design and Development
- Information Design
- Branding& Identity
- Promotional/Product Labeling Design
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong skills Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office
- Creative, energetic, and eager to learn
- Ability to work in teams; give and receive constructive criticism
- Work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects
- Strong typography & visual skills
- Videography, photography, Dreamweaver, HTML, Flash, asp.net, php are a plus, but not required
