Val Media is a media network with the aim of helping consumers navigate through the sea of options while shopping online, to find the best product that fits their needs. One of our biggest media, ProductNation, is one of the biggest product recommendation content platforms in Southeast Asia.
To help us support our growing media platform, we are seeking a full-time graphic designer to join our team!
You will be required to make full use of your creative knowledge to craft effective, engaging visuals to support our editorial, video and social content, as well as using visuals to drive important messaging to our audiences.
As our presence grows in terms of audience and business, this role requires quick-thinking, creativity as well as a keen ability to analyse data in order to improve future content.
Your responsibilities:
● Craft effective cover images for editorial and video content before publication
● Produce visual support for editorial and video content
● Produce social media visuals for the social team
● Create infographics to visualise industry trends, to be released along-side whitepapers published by Involve Media
● Ensure all future visuals adhere to the Involve Media brand guidelines
We want you if you have:
● Minimum 1-year work experience as a Graphic Designer
● Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
● Intermediate-level skill in either Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop
● Demonstrable graphic design capabilities with a strong portfolio
● Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
● Familiarity with graphical overlays, typography and visuals
● Understanding of basic design principles for digital media
