Please note that we are NOT currently offering sponsorship for this position and all applicants must be currently based in the Chicago-land area or willing to relocate. This position is “in-office” for at least 90 days and then a hybrid schedule is available based on performance milestones.

Job Description

As a Graphic Designer at Medtelligent, you will be at the forefront of visually communicating ideas, concepts, and messages through various digital and print mediums. Your creativity and design expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our brand and enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of our products and materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate creative concepts and design solutions that align with project objectives and brand guidelines.

  • Develop visual assets including logos, illustrations, layouts, and graphics for digital and print media.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development and sales to understand project requirements and objectives.

  • Communicate design concepts and ideas effectively to internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine designs as needed.

  • Create engaging digital designs for websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, and other digital channels.

  • Produce multimedia content such as animations, videos, and interactive presentations to enhance user experience and engagement.

  • Design print materials including brochures, posters, flyers, packaging, and promotional materials.

  • Prepare print-ready files and collaborate with print vendors to ensure quality production and timely delivery.

  • Maintain and evolve brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across all design assets and touchpoints.

  • Contribute to brand development initiatives by providing creative input and executing visual branding strategies.

  • Conduct thorough quality checks on design deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.

  • Optimize designs for various platforms and devices, considering factors such as resolution, file size, and compatibility.

  • Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to inform design decisions and maintain relevance.

  • Explore new tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance design workflows and capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Certificate/Associates/Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, a related field or 5 years of graphic design experience.
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, coupled with a passion for creativity and innovation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Medtelligent reaches out to certain candidates for quick phone calls to gather additional information – these usually last about 10 minutes and are scheduled in advance and according to your schedule. After the phone screen, candidates that are selected to proceed in the process will do an in-person or video interview. Decisions can be made after second round interviews. In some instances, third round interviews are held.
