What We Need

Responsibilities include the creation of 2K games marketing assets for print and digital.  We’re seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Design to join our in-house Creative Services team, focusing on 2K’s Sports titles, such as NBA 2K, WWE 2K, and PGA Tour 2K.  Reporting into the Senior Design Manager, responsibilities include the creation of 2K games marketing assets for print and digital uses.  We’re seeking for someone who’s passionate about design and has some knowledge of sports, games, and/or gaming culture.

What You Will Do

  • Keep up to date with the latest marketing creative concepts to provide innovative design ideas and visuals to challenge the status quo and push the creative envelope.
  • Brainstorm and collaborate with the design team to ensure consistency and alignment with corporate brand guidelines.
  • Collaborating with art directors, branding team and other professionals to create media.
  • Responsible for interpreting design briefs and conceptualizing an effective appropriate visual solution.
  • Able to produce marketing and advertising materials in line with marketing briefs, first party templates and brand style guides.
  • Taking on creative design opportunities when they arise. Designing master asset, logos and layout designs for print and digital media including social.
  • Working collectively to ensure that any design related processes run efficiently.
  • Building strong communication channels with members of the Marketing, Brand and Operation teams.

What Will Make You a Great Fit

  • Able to create physical artwork to print ready standards every time.
  • Able to create pixel perfect digital assets for web & social media.
  • Understanding of the products and the industry.
  • Creativity with the ability to follow brand guidelines.
  • Strong knowledge of colors, fonts, layouts and other design elements to communicate creative concepts.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight timelines, problem solving to stay on deadline.
  • Multitasking and prioritizing design requests for print and digital solutions.
  • Experience with online approval systems and digital asset management would be advantageous.
  • Great communication skills.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $34 and $50 per Hour. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

What does your typical day look like?

I work in Mocap Post Production. I’m mainly responsible for Head Mounted Camera footage in the post-processing and QA stage. I’m also the Lead for our small third volume, which we use exclusively for ROMming talent and props. I support processing the Mocap data and QA which helps to prepare assets for delivery. It’s very busy and very rewarding!
