Oak Essentials is an elevated apothecary brand that values the ritual of everyday living. We believe in creating products that are equally indulgent and effective—staples that bring a touch of luxury to every routine. As we continue to grow our team, our aim is to create a workplace that’s built on diversity and inclusion, and where the varied voices and viewpoints of our community pave the way.

Oak Essentials is looking for a mid-level Graphic Designer to support their in-house marketing team with digital content creation for all channels, including email newsletters, social media graphics, and paid advertising. We are looking for someone who can merge innovative design with brand storytelling to craft memorable e-commerce experiences. In this role, you will report to our Art Director at Oak Essentials.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your design skills to produce creative, visually appealing assets that embody our brand's philosophy for all channels
  • Ensure alignment and consistency of brand look and feel, standards, and voice across digital customer touch points
  • Work in harmony with Copy and Performance teams, the Art Director, and other marketing leaders to establish an elevated, fresh look and feel for all performance channel creative
  • Efficiently manage design workflow and deadlines within a fast-paced, collaborative environment without compromising brand standards or quality of work
  • Exhibit a pixel-perfect attention to detail and create clean formatted design files that can be shared seamlessly by the team and update designs based on feedback in a timely manner
  • Stay up to date on emerging design trends and bring a fresh perspective and newness to everything you create for the brand

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional graphic design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 1 year professional experience working specifically on email newsletters, social media graphics, and paid advertising for a brand
  • Experience working in-house with beauty/wellness brands a plus
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
  • Experience with motion graphics/video editing experience a plus
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Asana or Monday
  • A strong online portfolio of work demonstrating experience in digital design and the ability to continuously display those skills while in the role
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional typographical skills, sense of layout, color, composition, and hierarchy
  • Professional attitude; self-managed, self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player with a keen sense of urgency
  • Able to maintain daily workload in an extremely fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards and shifting priorities as needed; remain flexible and adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities and with professionalism

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to move and lift heavy objects (15 pounds or more) from time to time as required
