Graphic Designer (Maternity cover)
About the Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our creative team on a 5-month* maternity cover contract. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-impact visual content across a variety of platforms, including TV, digital, social media, print, and internal communications. The ideal candidate has a strong design portfolio, a keen eye for aesthetics, and the ability to transform concepts into visually compelling assets that align with our brand.
*This is a fixed-term maternity cover role, initially for 5-months, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.
Job Description
- Design and produce visuals for TV & digital campaigns, websites, social media, email marketing, presentations, and printed materials
- Collaborate with the marketing, content, and product teams to develop cohesive and engaging visual content
- Ensure consistency of brand visuals across all platforms and materials
- Take ownership of multiple design projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Stay updated with design trends and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team
- Assist in the development of visual guidelines and maintain design standards
Requirements
- 2+ working experience as a Graphic Designer
- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or UI/UX tools (e.g. Figma, After Effects) is a plus
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative versatility and technical skills
- Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
