The Role

The Designer will create visually compelling, on-brand design work across digital and print channels, with an initial focus on supporting a major website migration before transitioning into a broader creative role. 



Remote role. 

Language requirements: Business English and German. 

6-month FTC with a possibility of year-on-year renewal after that.

About the role 

The Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling designs that align with brand guidelines and support organisational objectives. In the first 6–12 months, the role will place a strong emphasis on supporting a website migration, ensuring visual consistency, usability, and brand integrity throughout the transition. 

Alongside the migration work, the designer will collaborate closely with marketing teams to produce a range of digital and print assets, including emails, websites, social media creatives, and presentations. As the migration concludes, the role will naturally continue with a broader focus on delivering high-quality creative outputs across channels. 

 

What you’ll do 

Migration specific responsibilities: 

  • Apply and maintain brand guidelines across migrated pages. 
  • Ensure visual consistency across typography, colour, spacing, and layout. 
  • Adapt designs to new CMS templates and component structures. 
  • Collaborate closely with developers, providing clear design guidance during build. 
  • Prepare, optimise, and document web assets and components using design tools (e.g. Figma) 

General responsibilities: 

  • Develop creative concepts, graphics, and layouts for a variety of campaigns and projects.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and deliver visual solutions that meet requirements.  
  • Create and adapt digital materials for web, email, social media, and other channels.  
  • Design print assets, including brochures, posters, and flyers, ensuring materials are print-ready.  
  • Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and materials.  
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget constraints.  
  • Review and proof designs to ensure high-quality deliverables.  
  • Stay current with industry trends, design software, and best practices.  

 

 
About you 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.  
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar creative role. 
  • Strong graphic and UI design fundamentals. 
  • Experience designing for digital platforms. 
  • Solid understanding of responsive web design. 
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Figma, and other relevant tools.  
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skills.  
  • Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork abilities.  
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an eye for visual composition.  
  • Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback.
