Graphic Design Lead

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Graphic Design Lead to join our creative team! In this role you will get to work in a young and dynamic team for the delivery of visually compelling and effective creative graphics design solutions for a wide range of projects at varying scales across various media.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage and lead a highly creative and dynamic team of 2D and 3D graphic specialists.
Lead the conceptualization and execution of creative graphics design solutions from inception to completion
Prepare design and deliver high-quality reports, boards and presentations
Maintain and adhere to Parsons and Clients’ brand identity guidelines.
Create sophisticated templates for presentations and reports, where required, for the designers’ use for multiple purposes.
Design and prepare complicated and complex art and layouts, applying established standards and formats from Clients or Parsons brand identity guidelines, templates or style manuals
Develop layouts to the highest quality to graphically represent Parsons’ design solutions and works.
Design and produce complex reproduction-ready visual graphics, including newsletters, brochures, flyers, slides, charts, plots, diagrams, tables, sketches, isometrics, graphs, posters, signs, and certificates.
Create sketch renders to demonstrate the space and scale of a design at the early stages of the concept development.
Produce motion graphics and animations for video projects and digital presentations
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget requirements
Ensure outmost quality of deliverable including checking the quality of the team’s deliverables
Mentor junior designers and provide art direction to elevate the overall quality of design output
Stay up to date with emerging design trends and technologies to ensure innovative and cutting-edge solutions
Works directly with the Technical Design Leads and/or the authors/requestors to review artwork, text, and other materials submitted for inclusion in assigned documents. May recommend improvements for accuracy of expression, clarity, and consistency with brand identity guidelines.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
10+ Years of professional experience in graphic design
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, Sketch Up, Lumion, etc.
Solid understanding of user interface (UI) design principles
Strong typography skills and an excellent eye for layout and composition
Excellent project management and time management skills
Solid and demonstrate Experience in brand identity development and implementation
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to multitask and work across various tasks and design works.
Solid communication skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities with both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to translate outline sketch ideas into workable scales and spaces using modelling software
Self-motivation, work part of the team but also the ability to work independently.
