Location: Berlin, Germany (Hybrid) Part-time
Hours: 20 hrs/week · flexible scheduling
Start: by agreement
Salary: €1,330–1,560 gross/month at 20 hrs (pro-rated from our full-time range of €2,400–2,800 at 36 hrs)
Important: This role is only open to candidates who are eligible for the Eingliederungszuschuss (EGZ) hiring support programme. This is a firm requirement, not a preference — we participate in a hiring support programme that depends on this.
About us:
ForEveryone is a Berlin-based social enterprise strengthening social participation, democracy and wellbeing in urban spaces. We run Community Café No. 52 at Boxhagener Platz, host creative workshops for international Berlin residents, and deliver European projects with partner organisations across several countries.
Your role
This role is mainly about writing funding applications. Grant writing is the core of the job, not something you’ll grow into on the side — we need someone who already has real, professional-level experience researching funding programmes and writing competitive proposals.
Research funding programmes and write funding proposals for our European projects — this is your main focus and where most of your time goes
During quieter periods between application deadlines, help run our existing EU projects: stay in contact with partner organisations, keep track of timelines, tasks and budgets, and prepare reports for funders
Plan your own schedule so that active writing/application phases don’t clash with project-management tasks that need your attention at the same time
Requirement:
You must be eligible for funding under the Eingliederungszuschuss (EGZ) programme. Please only apply if this applies to you — we won’t be able to consider applications that don’t meet this criterion.
What we’re looking for:
Real, demonstrable experience writing funding proposals (EU or comparable public funding) — this is a must-have for this role, not a nice-to-have
Hands-on experience working with Claude Code, Claude Cowork and Claude Agents — you’ll use these to run project-management work (reporting, timeline tracking, partner communication) quickly and efficiently, so PM tasks don’t eat into your writing time
A structured, reliable way of working, and the ability to plan your own time across writing and project-management phases
Clear communication, even when things get busy
Confident English (C1); German is a bonus, not a requirement
Motivated by our mission
Nice to have, not required:
Grant management, EU project coordination, NGO experience, event planning, fundraising, impact-oriented thinking.
What we offer:
Ongoing access to external training opportunities
Flat hierarchies and real room to shape your work
A workplace at Kiezlab coworking space, Berlin Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg
An international team and a European partner network
We explicitly encourage people with a migration background, people with disabilities, and career changers to apply.
