The Program Integrity Specialist supports the State Opioid Response (SOR) Grant by ensuring that grant-funded providers and projects are implemented in compliance with federal and state requirements. This role focuses on program monitoring, data review, performance assessment, and technical assistance to maintain the integrity and effectiveness of funded initiatives across the state.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct planned and ad-hoc program integrity reviews of awarded providers and projects
Ensure compliance with grant requirements, contracts, and deliverables
Perform desk reviews of submitted programmatic data for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Conduct virtual and in-person site visits statewide
Assess program performance against executed agreements and grant requirements
Identify programmatic progress, gaps, risks, or shortfalls
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to providers and partners
Assist with sub-grantee monitoring, grant tracking, and basic fiscal analysis
Work Environment
Combination of office-based, remote, and field work
Professional, collaborative government setting
Interaction with internal staff, providers, and external partners statewide
Contract Details
Contract Length: Up to 1 year (with potential extension based on performance and funding)
Work Schedule: Standard business hours
Travel Reimbursement: As applicable per contract guidelines
Coordinate with fiscal, grant management, and program staff
Document findings, prepare reports, and track corrective actions
Perform other grant-related and program support duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Experience in Project Management
Experience in Program Monitoring or Program Compliance
Grant experience (government or federally funded programs preferred)
Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
Proficiency with data review, reporting, and standard office software
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the state
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with federal or state grant programs
Background in public health, behavioral health, social services, or government programs
Experience conducting site visits, audits, or compliance reviews
Familiarity with performance metrics and outcome-based reporting
