What the job is:
CPI is looking for someone who is positive, outgoing, upbeat and a natural leader. The ideal candidate will be quick to connect with others and able to establish and maintain working relationships with while building a positive rapport with producers, customers and team members. The Grain Originator will work directly with CPI Merchandisers to make the best logistical and profitable producer origination trades. This position will also be responsible for auditing grain settlements, assisting with the annual grain budget and communicating grain marketing information to customers and employees as needed. CPI is a safety minded company thus such policies must be followed.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and two to ten years of related experience and/or training. An Associates’ Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Strong written and very communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
