Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is seeking a Graduate RCM Engineer to support new business opportunities and existing product platforms, primarily focusing on fixed and rotor wing aircraft. BDUK, a subsidiary of the Boeing Company, currently employs over 1,400 people in the UK. We are responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK defence customers, including new capabilities such as the E-7 AEW&C and the P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, as well as Autonomous Systems, C4ISR Services, Support for the Chinook & Apache Fleets, Logistic Information Services, and Training Services. We are very much in a growth phase.

Engineering Function
The BDUK engineering function operates within a matrix organization, consisting of various engineering departments that deliver technical skills, expertise, and products into our programs. This role will be situated in the Product Support Engineering Department, which encompasses the following technical areas:
- Reliability Centred Maintenance Analysis
- Reliability and Maintainability
- Logistic Support Analysis
- Engineering Data Exploitation
- Obsolescence Management
- Technical Publications
- Integrated Logistic Support Engineering
Role Overview
As an Graduate RCM Engineer, you will leverage your experience to facilitate and implement RCM philosophies and techniques while ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulatory standards. You will report to the BDUK Support Engineering Manager and receive technical support from the RCM Technical Lead and other capability specialists within the department.
Key Responsibilities
In your role, you will:
- Conduct RCM analysis to agreed scope, quality, and timescales.
- Review and process change requests initiated as part of continuous improvement processes, such as feedback from maintenance execution, failure investigations, and reliability studies.
- Ensure proposed changes are compliant with agreed standards.
- Understand customer requirements and advise on best RCM practices.
- Provide management reporting on progress (KPIs / Close-out reports).
- Ensure defined RCM tasks are implemented and updated in the relevant tools.
- Maintain and further strengthen the reliability foundations, following a methodological approach.
Basic Qualifications:
- Required to be educated to degree level or graduating in 2026 in an engineering discipline
Additional Skills and Experience:
- A basic understanding of the principles of Risk & Opportunity Management.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.
