As a Graduate Energy Trader, you will learn trading fundamentals, analyze market data, contribute to strategy development, and participate in trading desk rotations, supporting real-time decision-making and market performance improvements.

We are building a dynamic, technology-driven trading team combining IMC's 30 years of global trading experience with a local, entrepreneurial setup. As a Trading Graduate, you will be part of a high-energy environment where analytical thinking meets real-time decision-making. You'll receive structured training, mentorship, and direct exposure to live market trading.
Your Core Responsibilities

Learn and apply trading fundamentals across European power and gas markets
Analyse real-time market data to support trading decisions
Contribute to strategy development by combining quantitative insights with market intuition
Participate in rotation across Power and Gas desks
Work closely with Traders, Quants, and Developers to test new tools and trading logic
Take ownership of projects improving market data analytics and trading performance

Your Skills and Experience

Final-year student or recent graduate in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, or Finance
Strong numerical reasoning and problem-solving ability
Curious, competitive, and comfortable working under pressure
Excellent communicator with a growth mindset and team-first attitude
Eligible to work in Europe and available full-time in Aarhus
