We're looking for an enthusiastic Accounting or Finance Graduate that wants to apply their skills in a high growth, innovative FinTech company in our Sydney headquarters.

About the role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a hands-on role in strengthening the day-to-day financial controls that sit at the heart of our lending operations.

As a Graduate Accountant in our Finance team, you will gain exposure across financial operations and control, including:

• Financial Operations & Control:
  • assist with daily and month-end reconciliations across our cash, trust, ledger, and loan-book controls.
  • support cash flow analysis, loan account monitoring, and investigation of reconciliation exceptions.
• Regulatory Reporting:
  • assist with the preparation and quality review of data supporting our regulatory reporting obligations.
• Audit:
  • assist with year-end procedures and control reviews, ensuring timely compliance and accuracy.
• Other:
  • gain ad hoc exposure across other areas within the finance function, including taxation, corporate finance & FP&A, etc.
• Process Improvement:
  • contribute to review and improvement of existing checks and processes, including assisting with the creation of new tools and processes.

You have:

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident when you apply.
• You're an intellectually curious, ambitious self-starter with a growth mindset.
