The GPU Compiler Team plays a vital role in developing the GPU drivers that power the graphics and compute APIs across multiple platforms. The compilers are essential for extracting maximum performance from PowerVR GPUs, while also enabling support for the latest API updates and new hardware features.

As part of this experienced, diverse, and globally distributed team of skilled engineers, you will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the GPU compilers.
What you will be doing:

• Maintain, enhance, and extend our compiler stack.
• Implement support for new APIs and input functionalities.
• Enable compatibility with future GPUs and assist in hardware validation.
• Identify and design new optimisations and code transformations.
• Investigate and resolve performance or code generation issues.
• Focus on hardware code generation within the compiler backend.

You are a good match if you have:

• Advanced proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with conceptual and abstract thinking skills.
• Hands-on experience with compiler development, compiler theory, and optimisation techniques.

It would be a plus if you also have:

• Knowledge of GPU graphics and compute APIs (e.g., Vulkan, OpenCL, CUDA).

• Understanding of low-level instruction set architecture or related concepts.

• Familiarity with computer architecture fundamentals.
