About the department
Novo Nordisk Oceania is a high performing affiliate within a mature pharma market environment. You will have the opportunity to liaise with colleagues from the Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Clinical, Medical & Regulatory departments in North Sydney, while developing and implementing territory business plans and prospecting new customers to drive sales results for our new and existing products.
As GP Sales Representative, you will join our high performing sales team that promotes Novo Nordisk products both in person and virtually in your designated territory. You will report directly to the State Sales Manager - Region North.
The position
In this 12-month contract role, you will be promoting to General Practitioners & Diabetes Educators across the Northern Beaches region, Castle Hill, Hornsby, North Ryde, Chatswood, Brookvale and the country territory of Port Macquarie. You will experience variety, autonomy, strong working relationships with customers, and the chance to promote a lifesaving drug. You will be in charge of:

  • Engaging with existing General Practitioners & Diabetes Educators and expanding the target group of customers.
  • Being highly organised, self-motivated, driven to build patient centric Healthcare Professional (HCP) relationships.
  • Developing and executing a robust territory business plan leveraging face-to-face as well as digital engagements with HCPs/GPs to create a personalised omni-channel experience for our customers.
  • Executing marketing strategies and conducting group presentations as well as monitoring competitors' activities and reporting directly.
  • Working in accordance with business ethics procedures and local laws, as well as Novo Nordisk Way and policies.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of GP sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally worked and lives on or near the advertised geographical territory.
  • Tertiary education preferably in Life Sciences, Nursing, Paramedical, or a business field.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly, including occasional extended hours and weekends.
  • Must either be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
