GP Operator 

Role Summary 

Our client seeks a GP Operator to join their rapidly growing operations team. The GP Operator is responsible for operating in a direct mail manufacturing facility with a focus on reduction in cost-related errors, exceeding client expectations, and driving a safe workplace. 

Key Results Area 

• Operates and maintains equipment 

• Performs adjustments on the machine per job instructions 

• Meets and exceeds production standards and maintains customer quality requirements 

• Communicates job status and production concerns/issues during shift change 

• Follows all safety policies and procedures 

• Adheres to all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) 

• Troubleshoots problems with minimum delay time 

• Communicate with Management on any problems developing and corrective action 

• Works with urgency when equipment is down to maintain production requirements 

• Continues learning new and improved processes to achieve increased production 

• Facilitates teamwork among team members and between shifts 

• Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success 

Skills & Qualifications 

• High school diploma or GED required 

• Two (2) years of manufacturing experience (Preferred) 

• Able to move and lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally 

• Able to stand on concrete for 10-12 hours. 

• Willingness to work overtime when needed 

• Ability to apply written and verbal instructions for machine set-up 

• Ability to use hands, wrists, and arms to handle material 

• Good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members 

• Must demonstrate reliability through attendance, punctuality, and ability to stay in the work area
