ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Responsible for developing and implementing regional (VISN) and local (VAMC/MTF) government strategy to support imaging sales efforts
- Lead grass roots field executive and implementation of VA and DoD strategy calling on a new market segment, Radiology, and a new executive level audience in the customer dicision-makers, representing the Enterprise offering of all Samsung HME products
- Develop the selling strategy for complex customers, select the appropriate products selling mix, identify buyer influences, address objections, introduce new products, negotiate complex pricing, contracts terms and conditions, and make executive level presentations to c-suite staff and leaders within complex VA and DoD facilities
- Direct influence of other field leaders and teams not aligned in a direct reporting relationship. This role will liaise with and align the Enterprise customer-facing strategy for all Ultrasound & Digital Radiography business
- This individual must have leadership experience of diverse teams calling on matrixed customers selling a complex line of products at the executive level with VA and DoD facilities in the US market
- Serve as a regional strategic field leader for VA and DoD account management when it comes to: execuion and order planning, and implementation at large VA and DoD target accounts
- Transport company equipment per company policy
- Manage time effectively, prioritize and make good business judgments and decisions in relationship to efficiency
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- BA/BS degree preferred, MBA a plus
- 5+ years experience in imaging or other medical capital sales to VA and/or DoD customers preferred
- Ability to communicate and work effectively within a shared services and matrixed business model to effectively execute national account contracts, maximize brand awareness and market share growth
- Ability to indirectly influence others with solid communications skills
- Willing to work with third-party dealers and SDVOSB’s
- Experience managing complex, multi-faceted projects, preferably in a healthcare related field, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Ability to independently set and manage multiple competing priorities while guiding others and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; Developed writing, editing, and proofreading abilities; and ability to communicate with medical professionals, scientists, peers, and senior management
- Willing to travel overnight, CONUS and OCONUS
- Budget, expense, and resource management experience preferred
COMPUTER & ANALYTIC SKILLS
- Must be able to assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations to management
- Expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Salesforce, as well as Outlook, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally required to Push/pull weights of over 100 pounds when setting up/dismantling trade shows and/or maneuvering Company equipment into place for display
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
- Must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when travelling
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-15 hours) for multiple days
- Interaction with x-ray devices; for this reason strict safety and tracking programs are in place, requiring the utilization of dose monitoring equipment either full time or as necessitated by situation
- The noise level in the work environment is occasionally very loud.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus
